The MRG-100 was launched in November 1996, and was the first Full Metal G-Shock ever released by G-Shock. With a price tag of JPY40,000 (USD395) it was expensive, and was perceived by some to be a premium G-Shock; similar to the present day MTG-S1000.
Esteemed G-Shock authority and owner of 50gs Blog, Sjors describes the MRG-100 'to be small, matching with a suit and would slip easy under a long sleeve. The MR-G logo wasn't featured on the front, but engraved big on the screwback'. We highly recommend giving his review on the MRG-100 a read.
